02 Case study · 2026
Thermal oxidiser partial reline, Erith.
The lower ceramic-fibre lining had failed and a liquid sample from the unit measured pH 1. We cut back to sound lining and replaced only what had failed.

- Neutralised and stripped out the affected lower lining.
- Cut back to clean transitions, keeping the sound, dry fibre above.
- Prepared the shell and installed a new 1260-grade ceramic module lining in the lower section.
- Handed over with a completion report. The unit is back in service.
