01 Service

Refractory installation

Brickwork, hand placing, ramming, gunning and casting, in firebrick, castable, ceramic fibre board and modules, and insulation. Where another contractor provides the labour, we supervise.

Scope

  • Refractory brickwork
  • Hand placing and ramming
  • Gunning and casting
  • Castable, ceramic fibre and insulation systems
  • Ceramic fibre module linings
  • Installation supervision

Typical equipment

  • FCCU reactors, regenerators and cyclones
  • Hydrocrackers
  • Furnaces and rotary kilns
  • Incinerators and thermal oxidisers
  • Biomass plant and waste heat boilers

Send with your enquiry

  • Equipment drawings and the lining specification
  • Extent of removal, repair or replacement
  • Site location and the planned work window
  • Who supplies materials, access and scaffolding

Anchorage & welding

Anchorage is where a lining is won or lost. We set out and weld hexmesh (hexmetal), V-anchors, bullhorn anchors and ceramic or metallic anchors, and lay out, weld and install silicon-carbide tile systems on energy-from-waste boiler water walls.

Scope

  • Anchor layout and welding
  • Hexmesh / hexmetal installation
  • V-anchor, bullhorn and ceramic or metallic anchor systems
  • SiC tile anchorage and tile installation on boiler water walls
  • Anchorage work within a wider refractory package

Typical equipment

  • Refractory-lined process vessels
  • FCCU cyclones and associated equipment
  • Boiler water walls (energy from waste)

Send with your enquiry

  • Equipment and anchorage drawings
  • Specified anchor materials, dimensions and quantities
  • Required welding processes and qualifications
  • Whether fabrication or supply is included
  • Location and proposed programme
